The error, Error validating Customer ID:Invalid Integer, is because QuickBooks Online is not allowing Transaction Pro Importer to save the customer name. This is typically the result of either of the two situations below:
- The value mapped to the QuickBooks field, Customer, already exists in QuickBooks Online as either a vendor or an employee. QuickBooks Online will not allow you to use the same name across multiple lists.
- There are extra spaces between the words in the customer field in either the import file or in QuickBooks Online. Review and remove any extra spacing.
If this does not seem to resolve the error then log into your QuickBooks Online account and create a new customer. Then cut and paste the customer name from your import file into the Display Name As field and save the customer and see if QuickBooks Online generates an error to help you troubleshoot this name.
