Unable to Activate Transaction Pro Product

ISSUE

Unable to activate Transaction Pro Importer (TPI), Exporter (TPE), or Deleter (TPD) Desktop or Server Editions.

RESOLUTION

Please check the following items:

  1. You have an Internet connection.
  2. Your login and password are correct (the password should contain no spaces).
  3. You have read/write permissions to the two installed Transaction Pro folders: one in user documents and one in program files (if the default location was used during installation).
  4. The option to use a proxy server is not selected in your Internet Properties.
    1. Go to your Internet Properties (search for Internet Properties in your Window Settings menu).
    2. Select the Connections tab.
    3. Select the LAN Settings button.
    4. Under Proxy Server, make sure the option to use a proxy server is not selected.
  5. Make sure your Firewall or Virus Program is not blocking the following web addresses:
    1. activation.transactionpro.com
    2. ipp.baystateconsulting.com
