Below are the steps to consider when updating from a previous version to a newer version of Transaction Pro Exporter.
Step 1: Make a note of any map files that have been created.
Open up the QuickBooks company file and launch the current installed version of Transaction Pro Exporter. After selecting RETRIEVE DATA button, then click the SELECT FIELDS button. The map file location is indicated in red at the top of the Exporter screen. When latest version of Exporter is installed and launched, select the LOAD MAP button to load the map from the previous version.
Step 2: If any filters have been selected, copy the filters file to the new installation of Exporter.
If any filters have been created, the following file Filter.txt in the Documents/01 Transaction Pro Exporter directory. Copy this file into the same location for the latest version of Exporter.
Step 3: Make a note of any command line parameters that have been enabled.
Right mouse click on the current Exporter shortcut on the desktop and select PROPERTIES at the very bottom of the list. In the Shortcut address, make note of any additional info added to the end of the shortcut address that is preceded by a forward slash (/). Read more about Command Lines HERE.
Step 4: Apply the data that was gathered in Steps 1 – 3 to the new version installation of Transaction Pro Exporter.
