ISSUE

When performing a Time Tracking import into QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) with Transaction Pro Importer, error appears for WriteEmployee stating THIS KEY IS ALREADY ASSOCIATED WITH AN ELEMENT OF THIS COLLECTION.

RESOLUTION

A conflict is occurring between Importer and QBDT because of a setting. To resolve:

• Log into the QB company file with the ADMIN user in Single User mode
• Go to the EDIT > PREFERENCES menu in QB
• Select the INTEGRATED APPLICATIONS tab and go to COMPANY PREFERENCES
• Click on BAYSTATE CONSULTING (for Version 7 and earlier) or TRANSACTION PRO (for Version 8)
• Select PROPERTIES
• For the option ALL THIS APPLICATION TO ACCESS...., uncheck the box.
• Click OK twice
• Try the import again
