What are the user types/roles for the online version of Transaction Pro?
In the online version of Transaction Pro, there are three user types/roles:
The original user that setup the Transaction Pro subscription.
There is only one Owner user per subscription.
The Owner has full rights to manage users - add, delete, and set permissions.
The Owner has full rights to manage companies - connect, disconnect, and delete.
The Owner is the only user that can edit a subscription name.
The Owner is the only user that can designate a new Owner of the subscription.
There can be multiple Admin users per subscription.
Admins have full rights to manage users - add, delete, and set permissions.
Admins have full rights to manage companies - connect, disconnect, and delete.
There can be multiple Participant users per subscription.
Participants have access to use Transaction Pro for the companies to which they have been given access.
Billing Access is a separate permission and can be assigned to any of the three roles and to multiple users per subscription.
Intuit requires any user that wishes to connect or disconnect a company to a Transaction Pro subscription to have one of the these three QBO roles:
The Participant user can include any of the QBO users roles above plus users with Limited Access in QBO. However, any users of TPro applications must have read/write access to the Chart of Accounts in QBO.
